Android Devices Use 61% Froyo


Google has just released a brand-new statistics on the distribution version of Android on handsets and tablet PCs worldwide. Known, version 2.2 or Froyo controlled 61.3 percent of Android devices available.

The figure was obtained based on data collected over the past two weeks, ending on 15 March. This data records the number of devices that access the Android Market for the period.

Android 2.1 (Eclair) came in second place with over 29 percent of the device, followed by Android 1.6 (donut) and 1.5 (Cupcake) with 4.8 percent and 3 percent. Such as disitat Softpedia Friday (18/03/2011).

Froyo now supports more devices Android than February, when the 'still' controlled 57.6 percent of Android devices.
