Australia has unique strengths in information technology, especially Cloud Computing. The technology is claimed to have the potential to affect the operations of various business fields in Indonesia.
Cloud Computing is the latest development in computer system technology that allows customers to only pay according to usage that offer high-quality technology solutions in a timely, cost effective, and very fast in responding to customer needs.
"The field of information technology is one field that strongly represented in almost all educational institutions in Australia either through programs offered as well as the existence of sophisticated facilities and infrastructure," said Deputy Australian Ambassador to Indonesia, Paul Robilliard, in his statement on Wednesday (03/16/2011).
Paul said to his government work to improve relations with Indonesia in the field of business. Therefore made a workshop themed Cloud Computing, and also displays the character of Australian alumni who already have a name in the field of information technology
Australian Information Technology industry is worth about 100 billion Australian dollars which is the fifth largest in the Asia Pacific and the 14th largest worldwide.
